I'm HOH who grew up in the hearing world and in middle school my Mom wanted me to learn Sign language so the school put me in a pull out session (being the ONLY HOH kid in my small Nebraska school) and brought in a sign instructor who taught me SEE. Now SEE is signing exact English or signing exactly as the English language is written NOT at all how ASL is signed. I can relate to the whole separate Language thing.
